Own a rare piece of automotive history with this 1954 Kaiser Darin! Debuting at the New York Auto Show in 1953, the Kaiser Darin became America’s first fiberglass production sports vehicle. Unfortunately, stiff competition from GM and Ford forced the Kaiser Motor Corporation to cease passenger vehicle production - now, this 1954 Kaiser-Darin is one of only 435 worldwide.
Beyond the sweeping profile and heart-shaped grille, the Kaiser-Darin was most famous for the innovative pocket doors that disappeared into the front fenders on sliding tracks. These unique doors still function properly on this vehicle today, as well as a few other rare features, including a removable hard top and a supercharged “Hurricane” F-head inline six engine.
Expertly-restored, this 1954 Kaiser-Darin will make a rare addition to any classic car collection - Come On Down!
